　　”The old man and the sea” is mainly about an old man catching a big fish, but it is dark, he had to spend the night on the boat. But fishy attracted a shark, the old man tried to fight with the shark, he found a steel fork, stabbed at the sharks head, the shark ran away, but the blood attracted more sharks. The old man lifted the big fish and found that the tail of the fish had been eaten, but he was not discouraged and continued to swim to the village. When the old man was hungry, he caught some small fish to eat. One day later, he finally returned to the village. People cheered. The old man said that he caught a big fish, but what he caught was a pair of fish bones. Although the old man did not bring the fish back completely, the villagers admired him. After reading, I also admire the old man, his spirit of not abandoning and not giving up, and the old man who insisted on disdaining and did not spend half the way.

I was moved by the grandfather in the book. He fought with the sea and the big waves for 85 days. He was a grandfather of Santiago. It is said that all the stories in this book are true. It mainly tells that my grandfather rowed a shabby boat alone and fought with a big fish in the sea, and finally defeated the huge fish. In fact, grandfather is not a great man, in many places are ridiculed, but he ignored, only tolerant. To tell you the truth, we should also be like my grandfather. No matter what we do, we should persevere and never give up halfway. Only in this way can we do everything well.
