      Although television has reduced the amount of time, it doesn’t have to be this way. The time family and friends spend together.

      或者這樣的:

      People can make the choice to turn off the TV and do something more active. People are addicted in watching TV.

      又或者這樣的:

      Or, if they really want to watch TV, they can find a thought-provoking program. A thought-provoking program they would all like to watch and discuss afterwards.

      可是,寫完總覺得哪里不對啊!沒錯,這樣的句子好寫是好寫,但是拿不了高分。

      其實(shí)要拿高分也不難呢,秘訣就是學(xué)會怎么運(yùn)用定語從句。

      定語從句相信大家在初高中都已經(jīng)學(xué)習(xí)過,在各種閱讀材料中也都見過不少。一個簡單句跟在名詞或代詞后進(jìn)行修飾限定,在主句中充當(dāng)定語成分,這樣的句子就叫定語從句,如果能用到寫作中,會給我們的文章增色不少。

      定語從句的運(yùn)用

      定語從句通常由關(guān)系詞引導(dǎo),關(guān)系詞可以分為關(guān)系代詞和關(guān)系副詞。關(guān)系代詞主要有that, which, who, whom, whose; 關(guān)系副詞主要有when, where, why。根據(jù)先行詞的不同,所選擇的關(guān)系詞也不同。下面我們就用不同的關(guān)系詞來對句子進(jìn)行合并。

      01that的用法

      (1)Although television has reduced the amount of time, it doesn’t have to be this way.

      (2)The time family and friends spend together

      在這兩個句子中,第二個句子可修飾第一個句子中的名詞“time”,因此,我們可以選擇that或which作為引導(dǎo)詞,將兩個句子合并為一個定語從句:

      Although television has reduced the amount of time that family and friends spend together, it doesn’t have to be this way.

      02who的用法

      (1)People can make the choice to turn off the TV and do something more active.

      (2)People are addicted in watching TV.

      在這兩個句子中,第二個句子修飾第一個句子中的名詞“people”,因?yàn)樾揎椚耍砸龑?dǎo)詞只能選who,將兩個句子合并為一個定語從句如下:

      People who are addicted in watching TV can make the choice to turn off the TV and do something more active.

      03which的用法

      (1)Or, if they really want to watch TV, they can find a thought-provoking program.

      (2)A thought-provoking program they would all like to watch and discuss afterwards.

      在這兩個句子中,第二個句子修飾第一個句子中的名詞“a thought-provoking program”,可有引導(dǎo)詞that或which連接兩個句子,組成一個定語從句:

      Or, if they really want to watch TV, they can find a thought-provoking program which they would all like to watch and discuss afterwards.

      學(xué)以致用

      在學(xué)習(xí)了定語從句的使用之后,我們試著用不同的關(guān)系詞將文章開頭的簡單句組合在一起,

      通過梳理之后,便組成了以下一段完整的話:

      Although television has reduced the amount of time that family and friends spend together, it doesn’t have to be this way. People who are addicted in watching TV can make the choice to turn off the TV and do something more active. Or, if they really want to watch TV, they can find a thought-provoking program which they would all like to watch and discuss afterwards.
