　　讀題之后, 恐怕很多考生都簡單地將此題默認為一般的優缺點對比題了, 其實稍仔細些不難發現, 本題的advantages 和 disadvantages 后面有明顯的限制性的定語. 這無疑就在很大程度上限制了大家論點的范圍. 例如, 通常我們認為私家車的普及會給我們帶來更多的就業機會和經濟繁榮. 這一論點, 明顯不符合本題要求. 此外, 私家車普及的缺點其一是導致了道路交通安全隱患. 同樣, 這個論點也不能在本文中出現. 本題目通過兩個限制性的定語, 很大程度上限定了烤鴨們可以選擇的論點. 此類的大作文題目盡管不算太多, 但是也需要考生們極其注意. 稍后在本文后面, 筆者會列舉近年有類似限制性定語的題目供大家參考.

　　With surprising popularity of private cars, great convenience brought by use of private vehicles and overly high environmental cost are both what people are confronted with satisfyingly and reluctantly. Thus, some people begin to rethink whether humans sacrifice too much environmental cost in order to enjoy the convenience derived from usage of their own cars.

　　只要審題階段沒有偏離主題, 其實本題論證起來并不算難. 開頭段通過背景介紹和點題的方式引出全文, 可謂中規中矩. 此段并沒有準確表達出筆者的觀點, 這個在真正的寫作中是被允許的.

　　Private cars make people’s lives fairly different from lives we used to live. During hours when public transports cannot offer service, driving private cars will surely be the first and the most possible choice. In order to get to some places hardly reached by public transports, people have no other way except using their own cars. Having road trips with family members has already become a popular recreational activity across all nations. People especially young generation cannot imagine how their lives would be without private cars.

　　主段一, 筆者重點論述了私家車給人們生活帶來的便利. 換言之, 本段就是聚焦于這個事實的優點.

　　The environmental cost people are paying for usage of cars should never be ignored. Noise from transport and bad air quality caused by tail gas are what people living in cities have to suffer from in their daily life. Actually, both kinds of pollution can be attributed to the consumption of fossil fuel that is fuelling majority vehicles on this planet. As soon as authorities pull the trigger for utilizing clean fuel for private cars such as cars powered by electricity or bio-ethanol, the environmental cost is able to be diminished substantially.

　　As is widely accepted, in this present-day society, owning private cars imply a modern lifestyle, notwithstanding humans ought not to neglect what they have paid for using private cars. Instead, what humans should do is racking our brain to find out means to work out environmental destruction formed by usage of private vehicles. By analogy, advantages that individuals can appreciate, without a shadow of doubt, outweigh the environmental cost that humans might not have paid.

　　由于前文一直沒有明確表達筆者的觀點, 因此在結尾段尤其最后一句筆者重申了自己的傾向. 因此, 和通常出現的結尾段落相比, 這個段落在篇幅上稍長. 盡管如此, 應盡量做到不與前文出現重復.
