Writing A Composition
One day in class，the teacher assigned his students to write a composition‘If I Am a Manager’.
All the students began to write except a boy. The teacher went to him and asked the reason.“I am waiting for my secretary，”was the boy’s answer.
寫(xiě)作文
一天，在作文課上，老師給同學(xué)們布置了一篇作文，題目是“假如我是個(gè)經(jīng)理”。
除了一個(gè)男孩之外，所有的同學(xué)都立刻動(dòng)手寫(xiě)了起來(lái)。老師感到很奇怪，于是他走近這個(gè)學(xué)生去問(wèn)個(gè)究竟。“我正在等我的.秘書(shū)，”男孩回答說(shuō)。
An Abstract Drawing
One day in a drawing class，the teacher told the class to draw an abstract drawing.
After a while, a small boy turned his drawing in. The teacher looked at it but saw nothing，only a piece of white paper.
“What did you draw”said the teacher.
“A cow eats grass.”the boy answered.
“Where is the grass2”
“The cow has eaten it up.”replied the boy.
“Well，but where is the cowl”the teacher asked again.
“It ate up the grass and then went away to drink water.”
一幅抽象畫(huà)
一天美術(shù)課上，老師要同學(xué)們畫(huà)一幅抽象畫(huà)。
一會(huì)兒工夫，一個(gè)小男孩交了他的作品。老師看了看。可上面什么也沒(méi)有，只不過(guò)是一張白紙。
“你畫(huà)的是什么呀?”老師說(shuō)。
“牛吃草。”孩子答道。
“草呢?”
“牛把草吃光了。”孩子說(shuō)。
“那么，牛到哪去了?”老師又問(wèn)。
“吃完草，牛便喝水去了。”
I'm Glad
A Sunday school teacher was telling her pupils the importance of making others glad. Now, children, said she, has anyone of you ever made someone else glad?Please, teacher, said a small boy, I've made someone glad yesterday.Well done. Who was that?My granny.Good boy. Now tell us how you made your grand mother glad.Please, teacher, I went to see her yesterday, and stayed with her three hours. Then I said to her, ‘Granny, I'm going home,’ and she said, ‘Well, I'm glad’!
我很高興
一個(gè)主日學(xué)校的老師正在對(duì)學(xué)生講使別人高興的重要性。現(xiàn)在，孩子們，她說(shuō)：你們當(dāng)中有誰(shuí)讓別人高興過(guò)?我，老師，一個(gè)小男孩說(shuō)：昨天我就使別人高興過(guò)。做得好，是誰(shuí)呢?我奶奶。好孩子，現(xiàn)在告訴我們，你是怎樣使你奶奶高興的。是這樣的，老師。我昨天去看她，在她那兒呆了三個(gè)小時(shí)。然后我跟她說(shuō)：‘奶奶，我要回家了。’她說(shuō)：‘啊，我很高興!’
