1、英文自薦信應注意的格式問題
但在格式方面與中文自薦信還是有所區別的這主要表現在英文自薦信的主要內容和中文自薦信基本一致。
2、信封的寫法
外企在華的分支機構或分公司都會在招聘廣告中給出中文，絕大多數情況下。終究入鄉隨俗，也可以防止郵遞員因為看不懂外語而投遞只需按我國的習慣書寫信封就可以了只是人名方面須要注意。如果廣告上寫的聯系人是中文，困難。這種情況下。那么就直寫“先千萬不要擅自把它譯為中文，生收”女士收”好了但如果聯系人的名字是英文。哪怕這個名字看起來很普遍、很熟悉，如“James不要寫成“詹姆士”Smith不要寫成“史密斯”
如果外企給的英文地址，另外一種情況。那信封的寫法就應遵循英美的習慣。一般的寫法是信封的左上角（中文信封郵政編碼的地方）
信封中間的地方寫的收件人的名字和地址。收發雙方的地址都要依照由小及大的順序排列，寫的發件人的名字和地址。依次是第一行
第二行寫市（縣）省名，寫房屋號、門牌號碼、街道或路名。第三行寫國家名稱。需要注意的寄往國外的自薦信都要加上“中國 ”字樣
而且一定是國名前。對于發件人來說，郵政編碼位于省或者直轄市那行的行尾。如果你留下的學校班級地址，則一般順序為：第一行寫
