摘 要
農民意識存在于不同的個體有著不同的表現，但至少可以肯定的是農民意識是農業文明的產物，是傳統文化的重要表現。《西游記》中豬8戒是1個個性化色彩較濃的形象，這是1個融豬性、人性、神性為1體的形象。豬8戒的外部特征體現出他是個典型的農民，有著農民似的憨厚、吃苦耐勞優良品質。也擁有農民的精明、智慧和經驗，為取經事業的成功做出了很大的貢獻。同時，豬8戒的性格表現出來的另1個所謂“普通人民的生活愿望”，是自私、耍小狡猾和貪便宜。為了孫悟空平時對他的“不公平待遇”而公報私仇，這是1種鮮明的農民意識。
作者基本上是將他作為1個老好人形象加以肯定的，但同時又10分真實地寫出了他的各種性格缺陷。善惡并存美丑共舉，使性格趨向個性化。有1點我們必須肯定的是在取經的途中，豬8戒用他那些良好的農民意識幫助了師徒4人沖破了許多困難，在取經事業中占據著不可替代的地位。
